just random playing – the right page was done the day i returned to work after my boyfriend was fired from the same company.

most recent. the page on the right is one of my favorite pages in awhile, even though it’s not that visually stimulating. it says, eventually you have to just let go… earlier, kristina said she saw a monarch butterfly and it reminded her of me. she said, “i remember how you used to cry and cry when it was time to set them free.” I loved hearing this from her. This reminder of my younger self, and how painful it was for me to let those butterflies go. (I raised them from eggs to caterpillars, through their chrysalis stage, and released them when they became butterflies.) Letting go is never easy – but even my younger self knew that, as sad as it is, the time comes when you just have to say your goodbyes, wash your hands, and move on.

I love your journal pages, especially that first one! I also like the text on that first one, too. I think that same thing sometimes.
