Wonderbug Wednesday – Chelsea Dirk

I present to you, the fantastically quirky illustrator and photographer, Chelsea Dirck!

What Chelsea loves about Chelsea:

- I love that in most cases I am able to stay positive. I don’t like to sweat the small stuff, or sometimes even the big stuff. Most of the time you can figure things out and most of the time things get better.

I love that I’m not afraid to be scared and I’m not afraid to make mistakes.

Even though I hate that I feel like I can’t stay in one place most of the time I love that I have a sense of adventure. Although it sometimes makes things complicated I have the most wonderful friends and a great boyfriend that I would have never found otherwise.

What she’s into:

- Lately I’m into figuring out what REALLY keeps me inspired. I’ve been making lists to remind myself of what’s important and what I should be doing. I guess the lists aren’t anything new, but it’s something I’ve been doing a lot. Also- discounted paint. In an effort to keep motivated and to make Florida feel more like home I’ve been buying returned or mis-matched gallons of pain and slowly making over the house.

Who she admires:

- I really admire anyone who follows their heart and makes things happen for themselves- people who say “this is what I want” and then go do it.

- I appreciate anyone and everyone that has any interest in the things I am doing. of course there are always people who might not care what you are doing or poke fun at you, but that’s not what matters. If you’ve got something to share: share it. Someone wants to hear it, someone feels the same, and someone can relate & that right there is enough.
