Today’s Wonderbug post is a little different than previous ones, in that it’s not an interview. Today I want to tell you about this boy I know – Noah Justin Sanders. (You can read more about our relationship here.) I was walking the dog yesterday, thinking about conversations that Noah and I have had recently, and was struck (again) by the realization of how remarkable this guy is. I have known him for just a couple of weeks shy of two years, and I am still in absolute awe of him.
Who he is and What he does:
Noah is an outdoorsy guy. He’s good at everything he does. (Yes, this is often maddening.) Here are a few things that Noah does: photography, cooking, mountain biking, hiking, scuba diving, climbing/ice climbing, snowboarding, surfing, kayaking, and business-y things like marketing, SEO, project management, etc.
He’s the most well-rounded guy you’ll ever meet, AND he’s super nice. I think this is one of the things I find most interesting about him. He almost never says anything bad about anyone he knows. I’ve always prided myself on being able to put myself in someone else’s shoes, but in comparison, I am a catty wench. He’s got an amazing heart.
Noah also recently took over as the photographer for The History of Human Desire.

Three things to love about Noah:
- His heart
- His determination
- His ability to teach and guide with such patience
What he’s into lately:
- Weeds (The TV program)
- Some video game I don’t know the name of
- The idea of going for long bike rides
- Our dog, Eli
Who he admires:
My best educated guess: his parents, me, his friend Tim Morrison, probably a lot of other people.
You can find Noah on Twitter and Flickr, and maybe one day he’ll find someone nice enough to make him a website for his photography. (Sigh… I guess that should be his web goddess girlfriend, huh? Haha.)
ILU, Noah-J. <3
