My childhood best friend Sara visited us the week before Christmas. Her sidekick, Michael came along. It was so, so great having them here. It’s been a ritual of ours to visit the Portland Head Light whenever she comes to visit, so that is what we did. Noah and Alicia accompanied us. It was cold and getting dark by the time we got there, but we wandered around a bit before heading off to dinner at Flatbread Company. It was a great day.
